At Snowden Community Civic Association, we are dedicated to serving our community with love and compassion. Our mission is rooted in community. We are a safe haven with a strong foundation that educates and supports children, seniors, and families. We are located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
Services
Community Outreach Programs
Ensuring the community is informed and provided updated information on key issues on a regular basis. We engage with local authorities and host speakers to discuss topics that impact our community ie heir’s property, completion of sewer project. We provide nominal bereavement funds to grieving families. We work to register new voters. We host community fundraisers and social events throughout the year.
Health & Wellness Awareness Initiatives
Investing in our community by providing Health and Wellness Education . Empowering community engagement with available resources for children and the next generation of leaders.
Community Free Lunch Program
Collaborated with Charleston County to establish a new pick-up location on Maggie Road for parents to receive weekly nutritious breakfast and lunch “ bundled meals” during the summer for school aged children in Charleston County.
